Classic Brittany spot - a consistent 10km+ bay stretching north from the eponymous setup to offering a huge array of peaks to pick from. All tides - always busier to the south. La Torchè itself is a walled up A-frame breaking near the south headland - long 200m+ lefts that belt down the beach, plus a shorter right breaking into 'the elevator' - the rip alongside the rocks that'll sweep you right back out to the lineup.

Paddle out otherwise can be brutal when bigger, plus watch out for rocks and flash rips. Parking, toilets, shop and bar.
