Kennack Sands is a very sheltered, fickle, beachbreak that tends to only work in big winter swells. Best at low to mid, high tide cuts beach in two when the waves tend to get fat, eventually disappearing altogether. Decent beginner option.

Can get crowded when on, access can be tricky at high, some reef around, particularly as the tide drops. Parking, facilities behind beach, nice and easy.
