Port Eynon is a sheltered bay offering a range of breaks and peaks with something working at all tides when there's a solid enough swell to wrap in.

Breaks:

  • The Bay - main Port Eynon beach. Mid/high best. Very sheltered/needs lots of swell. General beachbreak sandbar A-frames, crumbly, shallow.
  • Horton - heading E, less sheltered, big swell shorebreak wave that gets hollow on occasion. Intermediate+
  • Slade - heading E, less sheltered again, rocky, best around mid, A-frames. Intermediate+
  • *The Point - quality, punchy right reef point break off headland. Best around mid. Steep, shallow, take off, then mellows out. Intermediate+

Parking by beach, full facilities in town, or for Horton/Slade park in respective villages. Check out The Beach House in town, run by Welsh longboarding champ.
