Shanklin is a fairly inconsistent E facing beachbreak, that offers shelter in big SW storms. Works all tides, but generally better towards low.

• Hope Beach, slightly north, offers A-frames all tides, though spring highs will hit the seawall often creating a wedgy backwash wave that's intermediate+. Parking
• Esplanade is generally shoredumpy, unless big enough for some offshore A-frames to form to the south. Parking
• The Groyne, can offer some wedgy rights towards high.
