Wedgy, shallow, mid to high, experts only reef right off the East Pier (aka The Wall). Tight wavepool-esq takeoff right next to the wall. Not what it once was. Tight local crew regulating, be respectful. Then there's some average beachbreak A-frames heading north, for everyone else.
