Fraserburgh is a long bay offering a variety of different peaks that work all tides. Centre of the East Coast scene - if it's not working, nowhere nearby will be.

Breaks (W to E):

  • The Broch - a fun, long, left point off the NW headland over pebbles. Fickle, so crowded when on (the local surf club is called the Broch Surf Club for a reason), so be respectful.
  • Beach - A frame beachbreak peaks up and down.
  • *Philorth - rivermouth sculpted that're often better sculpted and N facing, so worth checking out in S wind.

Parking in town toilets, etc. for Broch and the NW end of the beach, or SE end for Philorth.
