Combesgate is a small, slightly sheltered break in a bay just round the rock heading north from Woolcombe. Best around low tide, the beach disappears around high, when you'll also have to deal with rocks. Some shelter from N winds. Rippy, rocky, can be crowded in summer, but often less than its neighbours to the south.
