Broad Haven is a somewhat sheltered inconsistent beachbreak that can work when everything else around is maxed out, or in a W swell. When working, can get hollow and punchy. Works mid to high, tends to close out around low. A-frames plus a decent left off Shetland Hill headland to the south, which can also provide some shetler from S winds.

Popular with beginners, and can handle a small crowd, but will get busy in peak season. Parking, surf school, shop, bars, pubs, cafe, hostels in town.
