Newgale is a huge 8km stretch of beachbreak that's both pretty consistent, and pretty average. Works around tides, though towards high it tends to be on the pebbles and only really doable towards the south end. Best on the drop. Handles a crowd well and fairly chilled. Currents tend to be pretty easy too.

A-frames up and down bay. Head north for some shelter from N/NW winds, and a hollow, sucky, right towards Penycwm that's best on the push, heavily localised, and Intermediate+ only. Watch out for tide, and go exploring for more solid options in the area.
On a more W swell it's worth checking out Whitesands to the north, or Broad Haven to the south.
