Hayling Island is a long, very sheltered, beachbreak that needs a huge SW winter swell to wrap around the IOW and get it working. A-frames up and down plus a right sand point on the W end. Popular with windsurfers, kitesurfers, and SUPS, the long slowing shelving sand base can see waves rolling for hundreds of meters. Parking behind dunes.
