Shoreham is a fickle breachbreak on a sandbar anchored by the powerstation outfall (the Hot Pipe), along with a range of other lefts and rights anchored by groynes. Works most tides, but best mid. When huge there can be a sheltered wavepool-esque wave inside the harbour arm - hazardous obviously.

Much more windslop than groundswell, so when it does work it gets crowded. Rippy, reefy, lots of obstacles to avoid. Easy parking behind the beach.
