Portwrinkle is a fairly average sand and reef beachbreak to the north end of neighbouring Whitsand Bay. Works at all tide, best at low, high gets pretty reefy and rocky towards the west end. East end more sandy and more consistent. Car park in town, access down cliff path to beach and head east. Bear in mind the further east you go the closer you are to the military land around Tregantle fort.
