Somewhat sheltered from N/NE swells by Flamborough Head, it can be a good option in larger winter swells. Good water quality vs neighbours. Limited wind shelter, popular with wind and kite-surfers. Paid parking, easy access, beach cafe & facilities when open, and often crowded with holiday makers over summer.
