Home to a couple of fairly average, inconsistent, beach breaks, and a long, very inconsistent right reef/point off Hummersea Scar. Rank water quality, keeps the crowds down.

Breaks

• Pair of user friendly beach breaks, either side of the jetty tide round, best at mid, in N/NE.
• Hummersea Scar, a fickle, sand covered, ledge reef right point breaking off the headland at low mid tide, in E/NE.

Hazards: rocks, jetty, pollution, rips, theft. Terrible water quality due to old mine and steel works.

Access, parking & facilities: limited beach and roadside parking, toilets in village. Don't let anyone see you hide your keys.
