Breaks (N to S)

  • Beach - popular beachbreak, generally gentler and more beginner friendly to the North, better shape to the South. All tides.
  • Left - long (400m+ on its day) reef ledge left at south end of beach, popular with locals. All tides, generally better towards low on small swells, but can get very shallow as it builds. Intermediates+.
  • Cornish Left - similar setup to Left, just faster, hollower, shallower, quieter, and further south. Paddle out between Left and Cornish Left. All tides. Experts+.
  • Shit Creek - more S still, a hollow heavy reef that's generally left around low tide, but on big swells can be rights as tide rises. Named for river colour more than quality. Experts+.
