Bunmahon (Bonmahon) is a fairly consistent (for the south coast) beachbreak that can get hollow on its day, and tends to hold a little more power than Tramore Strand. Works all tides if big enough, though high tends to get shorey and reformy, tends to be best around mid.

Better water quality than Tramore, despite the rivermouth. Does mean strong rips, particularly when bigger. Not too big, so gets busy when on.
