Huge popular beachbreak on the end of the Llyn. Hoovers up any swell going. Works all, but generally best mid to high, with a north to north easterly wind. 7km of peaks to pick from so handles a crowd if you spread out.

  • Main beach - huge expanse of sand and occasional reef peaks. Some shelter from westerlies under northern headland.
  • The Reef - sand covered reef hollow right off the southern headland around high. Crowded takeoff when working.
  • The Corner - mellow reef left off northern headland at mid to high, with shelter from W/SW.

Rippy at size, rocky, jellies over summer. Parking and camping west of Llanengan towards southern end, plus camping towards northern end. Pubs in village, shops/schools in Abersoch.
