Sheltered beachbreak in the heart of Newquay. Works in big swells and SW storms (autumn/winter normally). Range of peaks to pick from, but the lefts off the harbour wall tend to hold the best shape. Some wind shelter, particularly as tide comes up. If too small check out spots moving out from behind the shelter of the headland. Lower tides it joins up with its neighbours to the east. Hugely crowded in summer, and parking can be a nightmare.
